Cover photo for French Toast Diaries posts

Last month we were in the Kwun Tong area before seeing our photographers (soul studio) for our pre-wedding pictures. I rarely come up this way because I don’t work around here, and I don’t know anyone who lives there, but there are loads of restaurants around that cater to the office/warehouse crowd so I suspect I will be in the area more often if I want to venture out to find great French Toast.

Picked this place because it was only a door or two down from where we were heading. This french toast was disappointingly below average and I had low expectations going in. While it was crispy on the outside, the slice of bread was too thin for my liking. They put the condiment on the side which didn’t allow it to heat up enough, and get runny enough, to be enjoyed properly.

French toast, fried chicken leg, and beef with noodles.

Begrudgingly assigned number rating would be a 4/10. Too thin, not enough condiments.

Cost:
I think it was $35 HKD.
